with a one for travel & adventure!
Hi, I'm Anna Luchtefeld!

Did you know photographers spend more time with the Bride than almost anyone else on their wedding day?! This is why I encourage genuine conversation and real connections when working with couples. I might just be your photographer, but I would love to become your friend!
Even if you are looking for a different service, I find sessions are so much more natural and overall a better experience for everyone if we get to know each other a bit before hand!

My history
I was born and raised in middle TN. My family lived just outside the city where we played "house" with sticks and mud, ran around barefoot, and listened to audio books while building lego villages. My siblings and I were homeschooled and disciplined to work hard and be kind. As the oldest, I had the privilege of organizing games, activities, and meals. We were also a very active family. I played 10 years of competitive soccer. We joined a family gym where we trained ninja warrior, aerial silks, and lifted weights (Shout out to Fortified Fitness!). All this to say, my childhood was pretty adventurous and I couldn't have become who I am without my family, friends, and the helping, merciful hand of God,
My Journey behind the camera
While in High school, I took a photography class where we learned the basics of the art and how to operate the camera. One of the assignments was to create a business logo and name as if we were going to start a business. I chose Capture His Art Photography because I wanted to emphasize the fact that God is the one who designed all the details we experience. Sure I'm creating art with a camera, but really I'm just documenting the creation, emotions, and relationships that God has given us.
A few years later (2021), a friend asked me to photograph her wedding. The photo below is one of my favorites from her big day. They were walking into the woods to do a private exchange of vows. I believed this was an opportunity to launch my business. And so it began!
My life now
Now I'm living the crunchy mom life, raising a baby girl with my friend from kindergarten who I re-met 12 years later and married in 2024, baking sourdough bread, fermenting kombucha, and anticipating years of family nights.
My passions
My desire is to use the gifts God has given me to document seasons of life for others. Marriage is a beautiful institution and I love getting witness couples take that step of faith and enter into the sacred bond! New life is a gift and should be celebrated! Motherhood is a blessing and deserves to be highlighted! These relationships are my absolute favorite sessions!
My Style
Genuine. Honest. Real.
My goal is to capture you and your story in such a way that friends and family comment saying, "I can see your character and personality in these photos." So that strangers can say, "This photo is alive, I can feel the emotion coming to life."

My Style
I like to maintain the natural exposure of the setting while adding slight warm highlights and mild green tinting. I like to say my edits offer a gentle appearance; not too bold, not to dim.
